What do I need to buy at the thrift store to put together a pirate costume?

I am going to see Pirates of the Carribean at world's end and I want to dress up like a pirate when I go see it. I am going to the thrift store to put together a Pirate Costume and I need to know what things I need to get to put it together. Please keep in mind I don't have a lot to spend on this costume. What kind of accesories do I need? How should I do my hair and make-up? What kind of jewelry should I wear? Thanks!!!

I would buy black Capri's, a loose white or cream blouse, a cute old style looking jacket, knee socks, buckle shoes, wear you're hair in a low ponytail, and a three-point hat, and some big gold necklaces that look pirate. Have fun!

huggy_bunny17 July 30, 2009 at 10:48 pm: My pirate costume has two long piraty skirts (Pinstriped and lace). It has a half shirt that ties between my breasts and it has long bell sleeves.

I have a long scarf that I bought from Target that matches my outfit that ties around my forehead and hangs down my back. I also have a real large pirate hat with plumes on it.

I also wear high heeled combat boots.
